Good Sart formula?

My DDs are practically refusing their bottles(see post below).  A friend recommended Good Start.  I'm looking into switching from Enfamil Enfacare formula to Good Start.  After looking on the Nestle website, I'm not sure which would be best for my now 8+month olds (born at 32w3d).  Does anyone use this brand?  If so, what type?  TIA

P.S. Any other recomendations for a formula to switch to?

Re: Good Sart formula?

  • We never used good start, but I think it's a good one to try next. I know a few moms who've had good success with it. It's 100% whey protiens which can be easier on the stomach, and has no corn syrup products which is one of the things my son had trouble with.

If they liked the formula before, and nothing has changed, it may not be the formula that's the problem. Could they be teething? You could try some tylenol to see if it helps. Do you notice anything else out of the ordinary that could make eating uncomfortable?

  • I used Good Start Gentle Plus from the start until about a week ago. It helped with the gas in the beginning and I figure why change a good thing, if DD likes it. I know several others who use Good Start too.

  • We used it pretty much after discharge from the NICU, within a week or so and just stopped at year old.  Huge success.  Love it!
  • It was the only thing that worked for us.. turns out my son is allergic to corn, so it was our saving grace.

We used Natural Cultures which is now  Protect plus, I think. Green can.

  • My DD is a 32w3d baby, and we use Good Start Gentle Plus.  She loves it.
