Who ISN'T puking?

I feel like everyone around here has pretty horrible morning sickness.  I haven't had anything yet and I read last night that 75% of pregnant women get it!  I can't believe that so far I am in that lucky 25%.  However, I know that it can sneak up on me at any moment!

  • I'm not puking but I feel awful. I haven't actually thrown up since 7th grade and I have a serious fear of the whole experience that borders on a phobia. Even so, there have been several times in the last week when I've thought "I kinda wish I could just throw up and get it over with" because the constant nausea sucks.
  • I haven't thrown up yet, just nausea...and actually that stopped a few days ago for the most part. I still have other symptoms, namely my incredibly sore boobs so I'm not too worried about it. it will probably come back at some point though, I'm just counting myself lucky for right now.

  • I'm not, I do experience nausea though, but if I eat the right thing it goes away. Only problem now is, I never know what is going to sit well with me until I taste it. What happened to cravings? Seems like all I have is aversions, lol! I make some green tea w/ honey and ginger mixed in, and it helps my fatigue and nausea.
  • I got sick 2 times so far. the first time it was really nothing more dry heaving... the second time I was hugely sick and after I felt so much better... water, poland springs flavored seltzer and snacking often has been helping...

  • I have been sick 24/7 and thrown up daily since 5 weeks 5 days.  I am now at 10 weeks 3 days. I have had 3 decent days where I have had some times with no nausea and 2 days where I was inches from hospitalization.
  • Hi LHC - I was just mentioning to my husband how crazy I think it is that I don't feel any morning sickness.  A few weeks ago I felt the slightest bit nauseous and didn't want to eat certain foods, but it didn't impact my day and it didn't last.  I know that it could happen again at any time, but it is kind of crazy to be in the minority.

I hope you continue to feel great!! :)

  • No puking here either.  I did have mild nausea a few weeks ago, but now as long as I don't get too hungry or too full I'm feeling fine.  I also joping to be in that lucky 25%, of course now I've probably jinxed myself!
  • I'm not.  I've had some nausea, pretty mild though.

I was the same with DS.  We'll see if it lasts!

  • Me! I've puked like 2-3x and those were during week 5 when I had bad food aversions.

Nothing since! I'm eating like a champ and I have NO nausea. :)

  • I haven't puked and my nausea hits more at night so breakfast is the only meal of the day I enjoy.  Then it's heartburn city as the day wears on.  My boobs are huge and getting huger and I can't find a comfortable bra.  And the headaches...oh the headaches.  Last night was really bad but it went away eventually.  All signs my hormones are doing what they're supposed to!

  • I didn't throw up during my 1st pregnancy and I haven't thrown up during this one, either.  I do get waves of nausea and I keep expecting to throw up, but it doesn't happen.  I'm not complaining!  :)

  • Nausea recently kicked in for me, but I have not gotten sick yet (knock on wood).  It feels like I have a multi-day hangover right now.

  • I don't puke I just feel like I want to puke.  My stomach is upset near consantly and finding a perfect balance of food vs. full vs too full vs empty stomach keeps me feeling like poo.  Oh and the heartburn.  I consider this morning sickness.

  • I haven't thrown up, but I dry heave a lot.  I am really queasy in the mornings and evening/overnight.  I dry heave a lot and have come pretty close to throwing up, but haven't yet.  I hope to keep it that way too.

  • Me! I have had a bunch of queasy moments, not even true nausea. Just queasy. No puking. But I never puked with DD either, so I did not expect to get much MS this time either.

I DO have some food aversions. No cravings, but plenty of foods that don't sound good. Even foods I normally love, smell or sound gross to me.

  • I haven't puked.  I've had some queasiness brought on by food aversions, but nothing more serious, yet.

  • I have not puked but have nausea most of the day and just dont wan to eat.  I drink alot of water and eat what I can.  Sometimes I wish I could just puke to give me some relief.  But I stil work on the road as a police officer so I gotta suck it up most of the time.
  • I envy all of you girls who don't have m/s. Even though I don't have it everyday I am still nauseous daily and puke 3-4 days a week, sometimes twice a day. I am hoping and praying that this will all end the second trimester.

P.S. dunda000- the pic of your cat and dog is ADORABLE!!!!

  • I have had pretty bad morning sickness, but have yet to throw up.  My Dr. said if I haven't thrown up yet chances are I won't be.

  • I have had a little bit of nausea but if I eat something, it goes away.  So I think I'm also in the lucky percentage of women.

  • No vomitting this time around nor with DD.  This time I have felt a few waves of nausea, which I am attributing to my PNV since this happens when I haven't eaten enough before I take it.

  • I haven't thrown up OR felt terrible....It actually has me worried something might be wrong with me!!
  • I haven't and I never did with DD. But I do get nauseated right after I eat anything. There's definitely still time for it to happen though.

  • I knock on wood everytime I say this...  I never had m/s!  I went straight to constant hunger!  and like you said, I know, still at this point, m/s can still sneak up on me, but Im hoping it stays away!
  • I'm moving from week 8 to 9 and haven't thrown up yet, but I've had near-constant nausea for the last two weeks or so. No aversions yet and those Preggie Pops help a lot.

  • I've been lucky and haven't puked.  I've felt like super close twice, but it didn't go that far.  I'm nauseous quite often though. Most of all my boobs just hurt, and I'm SO tired.
  • @Nancy...that's how I describe it, as a walking hangover without the puking :)
  • Ok never mind I just ate dinner then puked it all up. But the puking was welcomed with open arms because I have felt terrible all day and now I feel back to normal.

  • I feel your pain. Been having awful morning sickness since last week, recently started puking bile which is just gross! I've been eating crackers and sucking on those preggie pops from Motherhood Maternity and they make me feel a bit better. I've also lost my appetite and no longer want to eat all the things I used to love.
