OK, this may be a dumb question, but I just started taking Provera for the first time. I have a 10 day dose that is supposed to make me have a period. Once the period starts, I then take Clomid for 5 days.
My question is: what if my period starts before the 10 days of Provera are up? Do I keep taking the Provera until it's gone or do I stop as soon as the period starts?
Thanks!

Re: Provera Question
I don't think your period will start before the Provera is done. Provera works by increasing your hormone levels everyday and then when you stop taking the pills it makes your body basically think you have ovulated and your period will follow shortly afterwards.
I could be wrong, but that is how my dr described it to me.
I was told to stop the Provera and come in for monitoring as if it were a normal period. I had my first round of Provera this last cycle as well, and AF came 3 days after my last pill. Good luck.
I'd see what your clinic recommends for the situation, though.
