CP: Did/do you like being pregnant?

All feelings of "yes, because it meant I was going to have a baby" aside, did you physically and emotionally enjoy being pregnant?

  • I didn't think I was enjoying too much until I looked back on it and all the excitement. I think I will enjoy the next one more and love my body for its beauty and not be critical of myself.

But overall, I really did enjoy my pregnancy.

  • The had the aches and pains that most pregnant women had, lots of bruising from the lovenox, but I still loved it. I miss being pregnant.

  • After I had G, I some how managed to convince myself that I really loved being pregnant.  When I got pregnant with #2, I remembered that I don't actually enjoy being pregnant.  I love feeling the baby move, but I hate all of the hip and pelvic pain that I have to deal with.

  • I never seem to love it while I'm pregnant, but I always miss it.

If I had known the whole time that Mason was going to be a nice, healthy baby, I would have enjoyed that pregnancy A LOT more.  I was scared the whole time.

  • I actually loved it- the only time I became a disgruntled KU lady is when I was over a week overdue- I just had it at that point- who wouldn't have??!!

  • So far not a big fan... nausea, worrying, butt getting big, pants not fitting... ugh!

  • I did love it. I remember hugging my belly in the hospital after my water broke- I knew I would miss my LO inside me.

I did have a ton of discomfort and "if there is a next time" I would know better to assert myself with my doctors for some PT.

  • Not really. I've never really been one to be super excited about getting pregnant beyond the initial "woohoo!" after that things get uncomfortable for me (acid reflux last time, lots of pains the time before, etc.) it's hard to get excited about that lol.
  • I liked it until about the last month!

  • I LOVED being pregnant. I had horrible morning/ all day sickness then reflux but other than that everything was awesome. I hope my next pregnancy is as good as my last one!
