Baby bedding

Does anyone have their baby bedding in yet? If so, did you wash the bumper? We're planning on washing the sheet, but I don't want to ruin the bumper. Also, is it too early to set up the bedding? I want to see it all set up, but I'm worried it's just going to collect dust for the next three months. Any ideas?

I washed everything, maybe don't dry the dumper if you are worried about it. You could always fluff it on the dryer to make it soft. I had to have it all set up right away to look at but will be washing again in Mid December to freshen it up for her.

I dont have the answer on if you should wash the bumper --- I want to do the same (it came in yesterday) but I am a bit worried about dust as well....

We washed ours with DS.  I assume we'll do the same.  They need to be washed periodically once you're using them anyway, so I assume they have the same wash/dry instructions as the rest of the bedding.

I couldn't wait so I set mine up.  I plan on washing it right before or after he's born.  I'm sure he'll be sleeping in a bassinnet in our room at first anyway.
