Parenting after a Loss

Way too big way too early?

Okay, Gabe will be 5 months in 4 days. He just sprung a tooth, wiggles like a worm - he totally is gonna be an early mover, loves to eat solids i've introduced so far, is too big for his car seat and can almost escape from his bouncer. What gives? Can someone make him slow down please?

I am super anxious to see his stats at this month's appt.

  • I know I have not been on in a while, but our little guys are only about 8 days apart if i remember correctly. My littly hayden is the same way.... makes circles in the family room while kicking is legs to his chest on the floor, scooted to get is fav toy this morning, and eats all of anything you put in front of him. For his 4 month appointment he was 15lbs 2oz, and 26 inches long.

I think we are in for some big little guys :)

  • DD is a big girl - she's already over 14lbs.

I think it's so funny that the whole time we were pregnant we were all cheering for our babies to grow grow grow! and now we're saying WOAH HOLD ON!

Obviously I want her to keep growing big and strong - I just want her to be my little baby as long as possible Smile

  • DS is a peanut so I have no idea what that's like, and he's not particularly a fan of the rice cereal we've been giving him. Maybe he'll be a late bloomer like his mama.
