tremors with high doses of folic acid

....does anyone else experience this?  I have really bad tremors...especially in my hands.  I noticed it started after I started on high doses of folic acid.  I have tried to look up side effects, I keep reading excitability, insomnia, nervousness...etc.  I found one site that said something about tremors. Not that it matters, I will take in reguardless of the side effects.  I am just wondering if it is the folic acid causing it?

    Oh no!! I don't take extra high doses, just a little above average doses. I hope it's not something that is bad and would make you stop taking them. Have you called your doctor?

    I've been taking a mega dose for almost 4 years and have never experienced this!

    I've only been on Folgard for 2 weeks, but I haven't had anything like that happen.  I would definitely ask your doctor.

    I've been taking extra since April, and haven't experienced anything.  Sorry!!  I definitely agree to call your Doctor!!

    I took high doses when I was pg with the twins and never had tremors. I would call your dr.

    I've been taking 5mg of Folic since our post-m/c follow up (so about a month and a half) and I've not had any side effects. I would definitely check with your doctor.

    March 2015: IUI#1 - nope.
    May 2015: IUI#2 - nada.
    October 2015: IUI#3 - BFP on Nov 2, 2015! *stick baby stick!*

    Are you taking B vitamins along with the folic acid?  Folgard and similar pills have the B vitamins built right in and I know that sometimes higher doses of B vitamins  can cause tremors.

    Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck.  Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
