to a 5 wk pregnant woman that was having cramping in her abdomen AND lower back?
ETA: it's not back pain, but rather back cramps.
There's a post over on June 2011 (I know, I know. I'm a glutton for lurking punishment) and a woman is experiencing that. The advice that she has been given is largely "ya, me too. No big whoop."

I feel sorry for my Dr.'s receptionist next time I get pg...she is going to be answering my phone calls A LOT.
ETA: I spotted about a week before my m/c and thought it was ok bc it was brown. Stupid. Who knows if bed rest or something could've made a difference? I won't make that mistake again!

That's what I'm saying. The cramping in the front is one thing, but to cramp in the back and front is concerning to me.
What's more concerning are all the puppies and rainbows that get thrown around on some of the pg boards.
I hope she follows her intuition that it might be weird and calls the doctor for medical advice, rather than listen to 4w1d experts on pregnancy.
