question on 2 hr glucose test

I read somewhere that I'm not even supposed to use toothpaste before this test.  Did anyone else hear that or did I just stumble upon a crazy website?

I didn't have that restriction.

I never heard that and since I brush my teeth every morning, I presume I brushed my teeth the morning of mine - it had no affect. I also only fasted like 9ish hours since I had to work late and thus ate dinner late the day before mine - the lab and my doc weren't worried. And I'm not IR. In fact my blood sugar crashed pretty quickly and my 2 hour level was about 20 points lower than my initial level.
