Hi everyone--I had posted here last week about the u/s tech seeing 3 sacks at my first u/s. At first she said it was trips and then said that it could be a fluid filled sack. Well, DH and I went back yesterday and met with the RE and had another u/s (6 weeks). It looks like it is twins!
We are cautiously excited. They did see yolk sacks and fetal poles but said one of the fetal poles is pretty small. The RE said they will know more next week and will, hopefully, see heartbeats then. She did tell me that she was surprised w/my high FSH that we have twins. She also warned me that there is a 30% chance that one will not develop. She said she doesn't believe that's the case but she wanted me to know the stats. So for now, we are taking it day by day.
Again, that you everyone for all of the support in my post last week. It really meant a lot and made me feel less worried about the situation. I really appreciate it!
Re: Update: Twins not Triplets
Twins are still exciting!
Though DH and I saw two heartbeats at our 6w5d u/s, we were given the 30% stat as well. We are also cautiously excited - back for our next u/s at 9w6d!
Best wishes!

Oh I LLLLLLOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEE your dog!
At our first u/s the doctor told us that baby A looked really small and about the possiblity of a vanishing twin and it may happen. Scared me half to death, I was so parnoid that I would lose the baby that I freaked out for 3 weeks until my first appt. with the peri then to find out everything was going really great.
I found out that I worried so much more about everything being pregnant with two then I ever did with DS#1, I think it just goes with the territory. Congrats on the twins and h&h 9months to you!
