Great start to the series. Still miffed that we don't get a better time slot (who cares about the Yankees?). I am happy that Doc pitched a no-hitter. GO PHILS!!

Yeah 5 o'clock is tough...Dh owns a small gym and we've had the game on all night while he works so he can watch it...and I agree, screw the Yankees

There will be another parade this year - I can feel it!  My dad gets tickets to Phillies games through his company and when it comes to the playoffs he gives us the tickets in age order (I'm 3rd in line).  BUT because both of my brothers, my sister and my stepmom have all been to a Phillies World Series game he said that when we go to the World Series and if he gets tickets - I get to skip the order and go!  I think I'm the biggest Phillies fan in my family (other than my dad) and am the only one who hasn't gotten to go to a World Series - and I've tried buying them. 

I'm just so excited - I went to the parade when we won AND got on the news in an interview about the William Penn curse.  And I will so go to the parade again this year - pregnant and all - I love my Phightin' Phils!

DH is from Philly so I have become an Eagles/Philly fan through default.  The Phils are my #2 team behind the Twins.  We are hoping for a Twins/Phillies World Series.  That way we'll be happy either way.
