Any Lovenox takers have PE history and vena cava filter?

What dose of Lovenox does your OB have you on?

Saw my OB/Peri today and he wants to increase me from 40/day to 40 twice/day.  I only did 1xday with my twin pg, and now he's reviewing literature, wants me to see a hematologist...

Uggh, I am not looking forward to doing these shots twice/day.

    I'm on 40 a day and will go to 40 twice a day at 28 weeks, but I don't have the vena cava filter and he hasn't mentioned anything about going to a hematologist.

    I'm on 80mg twice/day since 9week when I developed 3 DVTs. Probably around 35 or so weeks they'll switch me to heparin. I see a hematologist every 4-5 weeks (was seeing her prior to getting pregnant.) to make sure I'm at a therapeutic level of lovenox and to make sure my vitamin D3 levels are still good.

    While I was in the office my OB called a Hemotologist for a quick consult, and the person he spoke with said he'd have to do more research, and that I should come in. 

    I'm happy my doc is being conservative with me, but it seems they really don't have all the answers.. a fact my OB would readily agree with.
