1 month appointment! (Weight gain mentioned)

After all the drama of Lucas not gaining, he put on 13 oz in 15 days! So, I guess nursing is going well finally! He is still quite small at 7 lbs 15 oz (10th percentile) and 21 inches (25th percentile) but he's so much better than he was! He also got a shot and has been grumpy ever since, but I am so happy with his size! He's a little peanut, but doing well. One month down and I think I may finally be getting the hang of this mom deal! 

Thanks for the support and encouragement these past few weeks. It's been a roller coaster but we are getting through it!

that's great to hear!  It must make you feel much better knowing that he's gaining now.  Keep up the good work mama.

Hey Beth! That's awesome! Are you still supplementing? Are you supplementing with BM or F? I'm still so nervous about Liv's weight gain...it's nice to hear a success story!

I am supplementing with both but mostly BM- MH gives him a bottle at night. I pump when he gives the bottle, however I don't pump very well and usually get 2-3 ounces at best.

I hope things go well with Liv. I was very upset and nervous with Lucas, especially because I just wanted to BF, but I realize I have to do what is best for him and if that means supplementing, I'll do it!

That's great! N has always been small, too (5th percentile for weight, 25th for height) Love our peanuts! Keep up the good work
