I've read in a few books and online that if your pregnant you should keep your heart rate at <140 BPM during exercise. I always wear a heart rate monitor when working out. We're just starting TTC and I'm wondering if it's important to keep my HR <140 BPM during that 2 week wait to find out if I'm pregnant....I tried to keep in under 140 last night during my cardio workout and found it very difficult to do.

Re: Heart Rate?
Pretty much all excercise is fine while TTC. And also, if you're serious about working out before, during, and after your pregnancy, I'd recommend reading Excercising Through Your Pregnancy. It's fantastic.
