NY Paid Family Leave?
Im a NJ resident and I also work in NJ so I will be getting temp. disability followed by NJ Paid Family Leave(to bond with child) for an additional 6 wks. This is offered to new parents both Mom and Dad. My question is DH works in NY so he obviosuly cant get the NJ Paid Family since its through your employer- I did a search on google for NY Paid Family Leave & did find there is a bill that was introduced in 2009 but does anyone know if its in effect-it would be a part of the temp. disability insurance. Thanks!
