PNP matresses

Have any of you had any issue iwth your PNP matresses 'shrinking?"  I am am on my 3rd pack and play and I swear that the mattresses are shrinking.  In each one, there is a sizeable gap between the mattress and the side of the pack n play and it wasnt like that when I bought them.  Just the right size for a baby to get their face smushed down and suffocate.  I am terrified to use them for my 4 month old.

I think it might be that the matress is designed to fold up so it has creases.  Then, the sheets fit so tight they squish it up.

Has anyone else had this problem?  I am thinking of going back to the store, but I don't have the receipt.  Maybe I will call Graco....
