Please recommend your crib mattress

BRU is having a one day sale today and I would love to get these ordered for my boys.  I am overwhelmed with the choices.  I know I need to get a firm one that has over 200 coils.  Do any of you Moms have any recommendations on what you liked for me?  Thank you!

if you have not purchased your cribs yet- i'd wait.

standard crib mattresses are not always the same size... and some cribs need a bigger/smaller one.... i found this out the hard way when the mattresses i got were wayyy too small for my cribs (even though both were standard size)... then i did some research- and they can vary by a few inches.... You want a snug fit on the edges- so size is important.

Thank you.  I wondered about that.  I got the Monterey cribs from JC Penney and it has a suggested mattress.  Should I also call and get the specific dimensions to make sure.  I appreciate your advice.

I just bought serta with a coupon at BRU but the coils are 150 is that bad?

I ordered 150 coil mattresses also. I just went with the one that was recommended in Baby Bargains.

I have the Colgate Classica foam mattress, expensive but I like it.  It was reco by Baby Bargains and I can turn it over when they become toddlers as the foam is softer on the other side.

We have a simmons and it has held up nicely 19 months later!

Ditto. I ordered it online. Can't remember the store, I just bought it from whichever site had it cheapest.

We have two of these--just $40 each, very firm, good quality; they have held up very well for us! (And notice they get excellent reviews, as well.)

We have the Sealy Ultra Rest. It got awesome reviews on Buzzillions.com when we purchased it (although I'm not seeing it on there now...)

They were only $75 a piece from Walmart. We also wanted 200+ coils (this has 204) and the price couldn't be beat - includes free shipping!!
