There is a difference between your actual period, and other kinds of bleeding and spotting.
No one gets an actual period during pregnancy, because a menstrual period is the result of an unfertilized egg being shed with the uterine lining.
Some women spot or have bleeding that might be misinterpreted as a period, but it isn't.
You wouldn't feel pregnant if you just got your period, because you wouldn't be pregnant (yet). Actual conception isn't until about 2w (give or take) after day 1 of your cycle.
You can't get your actual period while pregnant, but you can have spotting/bleeding. I spotted for over a week right around when AF was due with DD (and my m/c). It was definitely lighter than a period so I would have known it wasn't AF.
So yes it's possible to bleed, but if it was like your normal AF, then you probably aren't PG. But take a test if it makes you feel better. GL.

Or am I missing something obvious?
I don't think she means that she thinks she is pregnant from this current cycle, but she's wondering if she was pregnant from the last cycle and her period wasn't really her period, just spotting?

I had a "period" every month (I know it's not called a period). I was always regularly irregular in terms of length and flow so nothing seemed out of the ordinary. However, at the time, I didn't know I was pregnant. I found out when I was 24 weeks. Then...I freaked out...lol. Best surprise EVER! Good luck
I had what I thought was a period in December. Very light but enough that I thought I wasn't pregnant. In January I thought I got food poisoned at Red Robin, two days later I was sick again and then I POAS. I was almost 8 weeks pregnant at that point.

Ahhh, gotcha. That makes so much more sense.
OP - I'd POAS!
