Sippy cup??

My 7 month old DD doesn't "get it", we have tried on several occasions to give her a sippy. She will try a few sucks then look at the cup and that's it! What sippy cups are you using? TIA

DD wouldn't use one unless it had a handle. I got a couple with side handles at Target. She also won't use one sitting up, because I think she's worried she'll lose her balance and fall backward when she tips her head back. I leave one on her blanket in the living room, and she's figured out she needs to roll over to it and drink it while lying on her back.

Amari doesn't get it either. He likes to chew on the nipple thingy and spit whatever gets into his mouth out. We keep trying, but he doesn't seem interested in it. I think it just takes time. He'll get used to it sooner or later.
