Toddler bed night #1 = Success!!!

We've tried twice in the past 4 months to introduce the toddler bed. Last night was the third try and we put him down clapped for him for being such a big boy, and shut the lights off.  I left the room, DH hid in a corner in the dark to watch him for a minute.  DS got up and looked over the gate to see if I was on the stairwell and saw that I wasn't and climbed back into bed and went right to sleep.

Granted he woke up at 6:30 this morning, and decided that the floor was more comfy haha.  So, now he's asleep on his floor all curled up with his blanket.  My heart broke a little, but i'm so proud of him for making it through his first night in a big boy bed .
