Bittersweet weekend

We had a great weekend-my dad visited Friday, yesterday our contractor finished up our new brick walkway and I had an awesome date night with my husband, then today we went shopping and had my mom out for dinner.  However, today is the one year anniversary of my 21 year old cousin's death in battle in Afghanistan.  It's a bitterweet weekend for us, and it reminds me that our military are out there fighting for us while we sleep in our beds and go about our lives.  On a lighter note: I hope everyone had a great weekend (and enjoyed some cooler temps?).

    That is sad.  I had a friend that died in the war while I was in college.  Sorry!

    Did ya'll come to an agreement with the contract on the house?

    Sorry to hear about your friend.

    Yes, we accepted the contract.  They actually waived the home inspection and are going to closing next month-yay!  Now if we can just get the boiler at our new house fixed so we have heat we'll be in business :).

    I hope you had a great weekend-I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you all and your TTC!

    Thanks! We've told everyone we're TTC starting in November, but DH and I talked about it tonight and I think until then we're going to not be TTA but not TTC.  I told him I won't be the crazy woman (we must have sex TONIGHT) until November.  That's the toss up ;)
