We all think it's just people on the bump that are so snarky and rude, but apparently it is also rampant on Craigslist.  Just found this post:

Snark is everywhere! 

And you have to admit it is pretty sickening when you see families who get every assistance under the sun and use the money to buy expensive clothes and the latest smart phone.  Especially when there are honest people who only need the little bit of help to get back on their feet but they cant get it because too much trash is taking advantage of the system.

Thats my thought of the night/early morning.

ITA with you!  I see it all the time in the ER-people come in for b.s. stuff because they know they don't have to pay a co-pay toting their coach purse and texting while you are trying to treat them.  It's SO obnoxious.  Then there are people who come in with serious medical issues (near amputations, broken limbs, etc) that don't want you to fix it because they are afraid they can't pay.  It kills me every time.  Those that really need the help can rarely get it because there are so many that abuse what is out there.

I think that's pretty presumptuous. They could have a tracphone or something for emergencies (especially if they bought it before falling on hard times) and could be using the Internet at the public library, for all we know.
