until my baby is one year old!!! How the heck did that happen?! btw, I have like NOTHING planned for a first birthday party. We have only my SIL like 3 hours away and that's it for family and most of my friends don't have kids so I don't think they'd really want to go to a 1st birthday party (you think?). I should really plan a Tiny Turkeys "reunion" for next month though...I wonder how many of you still post....

It's crazy when it gets close, isn't it? We had a very low-key party as well - just my immediate family and two of my mommy friends and their families. Fifteen people total - and that was more than enough for DD, who had a major meltdown pretty early on and didn't recover until after a nap.

First of all, I'm a Tiny Turkey! My DS is also just about a month away from 1, and it blows my mind. We are blessed to have plenty of family in the area, and I'm starting plans for his party. I know what you mean about feelin weird about inviting kid-less friends to kid-centered stuff. Most of my cousins have kids, but only one couple that DS and I are friends with have a kid. We went back and forth over whether to invite them to DS' party and ended up just deciding to invite them and leave it up to them whether they want to come. Even if you don't do a party, you guys should plan a really special day to celebrate!
