pediatrics ward from HELL

we're finally back home! (after three days). mia's fever is down, and they have her on oral antibiotics.

the pediatric ward was a NIGHTMARE. i won't even get into how horrific our experience was, but let's just say i ended up having to sneak into the special care nursery (where we had been for 5 weeks), and get help from the nurses and doctors there. they welcomed me with open arms and were like, "yeah, the pedi ward here is horrible. as soon as they move her to oral antibiotics, get her discharged, take her home, and if she still has issues, take her to children's!" (the hospital downtown.) ugh. thank god for those special care nurses. they are like angels, truly.
