I just found this link & I am shocked that this is legal. I don't see how it is safe for us in a car? I can see where it would be helpful on a plan/train.

Has anyone ever seen this?

I would imagine it is probably not legal in most states.  But when I was a kid (like 3 years old), I remember having a seatbelt adjuster thing instead of a carseat!  I can't imagine letting my 3 year old ride w/o a booster or something now.

The wording on that page is not professional at all.  That also sends up a red flag.  Is this a legitimate business, or someone just trying to sell something out of their home?

This looks like they adapted/ripped off from the CARES harness for planes (approved by the FAA).

My BFF was seriously considering buying this. According to her, it's perfectly safe. I gave it the side eye. She ended up buying a convertible seat.

I've seen something similar, but they wouldn't be legal in my state anyway because they seem to only go up to age 8 anyway.
