How many times a day does your LO poop? (20+ mos)

DD was pooping 4-5 times a day, and now it's down to one ... MAYBE two times. She doesn't wake up with a poopy diaper anymore, and doesn't poop after dinner either. DH and I have been worried that maybe she's getting constipated (she's never had that before) but other friends say that 2x a day is normal for their kids (around 20-24 mos.). What's your LO's schedule?

About once a day. The only time she poops more than once is when she was previously constipated and we had upped the apple juice or raisins.

DS is 19 months and he has gone down to one poo a day, sometimes we might get two.

Some days he goes once and others he goes 3 times so for our son it varries. I don't get concerned till he skips a day, or the poop is hard and pellet like.

Usually two times a day. 3 is not unusual. I think there have only been 3 or 4 days when he hasn't pooped.

Most of the time, it's once a day, mid-morning since she was about 9 mo. old.

Ocassionally, she'll got 2x or 3x a time, but something's "off" when she does that. She pooped 4x yesterday and 2x so far today and has diaper rash.

DD normally goes 3-4 times per day. I think as long as it's not too hard & dry it is not considered constipation.

DD still goes 3-4 times a day usually. She eats a ton of fruit though, so maybe that's why? But like pp said, I wouldn't be concerned about constipation unless it's hard or in small balls.

Usually once sometimes twice rarely 3-4 times. It's very normal to only go once or twice a day at this point.

Mine each poop 2-3 times a day.

I would LOVE once a day! I would only worry about constipation if her stools are really dry and hard or something. If their consistency is normal, just count your blessings that you're not changing six toddler poops a day.
