Road Trip From Hell...

So my mom and I left yesterday to come and visit the fam in NH- it was the ride from hell. The ONLY good thing was LO- she was an angel- slept fussed when she got hungry- we stopped- she ate- back to sleep. It took us 8 hrs which is normally 4!!!!!!! DH was leaving at night to meet us...

I get a call from him @ 11:30PM- our car broke down on the highway exactly midway btwn home in NY and NH! He was towed to the nearest dealer- then stayed at some random local hotel- and now is @ the dealer who said they can't fit us in today and we have to wait til MONDAY!!!!!

So what now?? LO and I miss DH! It wasn't supposed to be this way- we wre supposed to have a nice fun frist trip away together as a family doing fall activities- apple and pumpking picking etc.

DH is saying that he is going to have a friend come and get him and go home

I want him to rent a car and keep coming...he disagrees b/c of the added expense and it's making me sad.
