Multiples

Ahh this could be my last morning without babies!!

I have to call triage to go in for a repeat BPP/NST to make sure the babies are practicing breathing on their own and i don't have any placenta issues. If they aren't they will most likely schedule the csect for today. I woke up this morning actually excited instead of scared for a change. lol...csect is scaring the crap out of me not having babies (well that scares me but in a different way lol)

Yikes!!!

Re: Ahh this could be my last morning without babies!!

  • such a weird feeling, isn't it?

How exciting!!  I know it's impossible, but I was afraid of the csection and then it turned out to be no biggie!  If I have any more babies, I am actually doing a planned c, LOL.

     Good Luck!

  • After having both a vaginal birth with DS1 and a c/s with the twins- i can say that I'd be MUCH more afraid of having another vaginal birth than a c/s... my c/s was CAKE compared to vaginal - so maybe that will ease your mind a little bit?? :)

good luck! Enjoy the quiet time!

  • Yay, so exciting. I was really scared of a c-section too. The surgery was not a big deal, even having the spinal put in did not hurt, it was just uncomfortable. Getting up the next day was really hard, but staying up on my meds really helped.

    Good Luck.

  • Great work! And good luck! My c section with my son was also pretty smooth- it's taking some of the fear out of this time around :)
  • I'm more afraid of my vag delivery than a csection! I kinda wish i had a choice. Good luck today though and keep us posted!

  • These boys were my first and I had them vaginally at 38w5d.. it took a good 2 weeks for me to recover down there.  For the first week I was so sore I had to sit on the boppy or lay down.. pretty tough to do when you are caring for two newborns!  C-section might not be what you want, but maybe the healing process will be faster! You never know!! Good luck though, cant wait to see pics

  • I agree with the others.  I was TERRIFIED of a csection, but I think I was more terrified of delievering vaginal.  I ended up with a C and it was totally easy!  The surgery was no big deal and the recovery was not bad at all.  Some people tell horror stories that freak people out!  Get up and walk as soon as you can.  It WILL be painful but  not as bad as you think.  The more you get up and walk the better it will be.  ;)  Good job on making it this far!  So exciting!!!
