Anyone have any links referring to BSA not allowing in children of gay couples (re: the earlier posts)? I think I "started something" on FB and I may need some ammo tomorrow

From personal experience I've witnessed the exact opposite. We had two G/L families in our pack when my stepson was in BS.

that is always possible! its amazes me that some people are so against same sex relationships. love is love in my book

All I've ever heard is that the Supreme Court ruled that they could ban gay individuals (moms or dads) from being Scout leaders. That was back in 2000.

I've never heard of them banning the children of gay couples, though....

It is on a regional basis.  When Penn & Teller did their BS episode about BSA they had a fake mom try to get her son in but would let slip that they were atheists.  Some troops took him, some wouldn't.   The same would likely apply to children of homosexual parents.

I was a Cub Scout Leader and am an atheist.
