Fever, swim class or skip it?

DS has had a fever of 102 or less for the past 2 days. hes peeing and pooping ok, just whinny and cranky. would you go to swim class tomorrow if the fever was still there? thanks!

I wouldn't because he's probably contagious. If it's a private lesson and he's feeling fine I might go, but I wouldn't want to expose a bunch of kids to something.

Skip it. The pool is way too cold when you have a 102 fever. I hope your LO feels better really soon.

Thanks gals, I'm a bit clueless when it comes to sickness, we've been really lucky, he's been pretty healthy. We just flew back from FL so I think he got "airplane germs" as DH says...I hope he feels better soon!

no way. let him rest- doubt he would enjoy the feeling of the water with a fever.

Hope he gets better soon. Motrin him up if you haven't already.

Nope..it'll just turn into a mess of a situation, plus he's probably contagious still. Why waste the money when you can get a make up..

Definitely don't go! You could be giving all the other babies the same sickness! Plus, hard on your little babe! I'd skip it.
