Has this caused problems for  your preemie? We're going to start talking about nutramigen with the doctor. DS was a preemie and was never on neosure but had to go on nutramigen and it made a world of difference....anyone go from neosure to nutramigen or something like it and it make a difference? DD is miserable with gas and now to top it off a cold but the gas and crying non stop etc started way before the cold ever did. I just feel terrible for her at this point.

I have never had to switch but DS has been on Neosure as a fortifier since shortly after birth and full time since 4 months old. He has never had a problem. Hope you find something that works with your LO.

yes!!  My poor DD Lauren was screaming, (screaming in pain) from all the gas and discomfort with Neosure.  She would have to be burped like 6 to 7 times for just a few ounces.  She was so constipated....and screamed and cried to try and pass her stool.  She cried during feedings and after them.

When she did poop, it was very hard and formed dark balls.  (sorry to be gross).  I even took her into the pedi, thinking she was sick. 

Finally, enough was enough, and I asked our regular pedi to please let us try something else.  She is on Isomil Sensitive stomach.....and a very happy, calm baby now.  my other twin, Kate was ok on Neosure, and she is still eating it.  GL to you!

Thank you for the response i'm glad i'm not the only one...her stool was starting to get a little hard and she was having so much trouble just passing gas. I went ahead on Friday and bought one can of nutramigen and did a few feedings on that but still using neosure to wean her into the new formula, saturday was a full day of nutramigen and today and she is actually passing normal stool and has gotten more then an hours worth of sleep at a time also didn't have to use mylicon after every feeding.

YES!! nesure made DS so gassy and uncomfortable. We stayed with 22cal formula just changed to enfamil enfacare and it has made a huge difference

YES!  I've just recently changed mine to Enfamil Enfasure (supposedly Enfamil's equivalent), and the major gas and reflux seemed to have settled down quite a bit!
