Making Cloth Wipes

I was thinking of making my own cloth wipes.  I have some old towels and an old set of what we call jammie sheets but they are made of t-shirt material.  I was thinking of making the wipes double sided.  Do you think these fabrics would be ok?  I hear most people use baby terry and flannel, but I don't have any of that in my fabric scraps and I was trying to do this very cheaply.  Let me know what you think!

Sounds good to me.  Some of mine are old towels and cut up pajama pants.

That should work.  I love my homemade double-sided wipes.  They work really well.

If you are trying to go cheap, I just bought several 12 packs of plain white washclothes (around $3.00 for 12!) from target.  9 of them fit in my wipe warmer and just dump the solution over them.  cheap, easy, and they work great

I was thinking of  just doing that, using big people wash clothes.  I love those packs of wash clothes from Target.  I use them for cleaning, instead of paper towels.  It saves a ton!
