Generic Yaz Problems?

So because my IUD perforated my uterus and had to be surgically removed (gah) I'm now unprotected. Awesome.

So I was on Yaz before I got pregnant and the doctor wrote me another scrip for it. The pharmacy filled it with the generic though and I have heard some pretty terrible things about the generic. The problem is, I don't know why a generic should cause so many issues when it should be the same ingredients? It's called gianvi and please let me know if there are people out there that aren't having huge issues with it. I guess I'm a little gun-shy since I've already been the 1 in a 1000 statistic with the stupid IUD.

I have been on the generic Yaz for over 3 years now, and I have not had any problems (Before that I just took the name brand for 7 years)

I asked my OB about it when the commercials came on TV, and he said that there was nothing to worry about.. I cant remember exactly what his explanation was though.
