Food sensitivity mamas come in please!!

My sister just had allergy testing done after years of stomach issues.  It turns out she's allergic to a ton of things (wheat, yeast, soy, dairy, corn, all sugars, caffeine, the list goes on and on).

Do you have any websites or resources for recipes or food substitutions that I can pass on to her?

TIA!

  • I second livingwithout.com  Also, Celiac.com is a great resource and a lot of the recipes in the recipe forums are adapted to multiple intolerances.

cookingallergyfree.com is also a good site.

Honestly, with her list of allergies she will do best to stick with basics - meat, fruit and vegetables.   Corn and Soy are really, really tough.  They are in EVERYTHING!  Most of the wheat free products use corn starch.   In cooking her own stuff, she can sub tapiaco or potato starch if either of those are safe for her.

I wish her luck.  I have been gluten free/dairy free for 4 years and am mostly soy free.

    Kat.
