? for those who went thru 4 mo. wakeful

I am hoping this was just a fluke occurence, but last night Cody was up for nearly 2 hours in the middle of the night (1am-3pm) babbling and shrieking. At first I thought he woke up because he was hungry, or wanted his paci but when I went to check on him his eyes were closed...Is this what goes on in the 4 month wakeful and he is just experiencing this late in the game? Or do I have a sleeptalker? Hearing him shriek and babble was cute and all, but it sure would be a lot more cute at, oh let's say 1pm-3pm instead...

  • Sorry, we didn't have to deal with a 4 mo wakeful so I'm no help.  I just had to butt in and tell you that your siggy made me LOL!!!

  • DD was like this.  She had nights where she would stay awake babbling away and playing for a good hour or 2.  At first I would try to go in and get her back to sleep, but that just made her pissed when I would leave.  As long as she wasn't crying, I let her be....as annoying as it is to hear the cute shrieks and babbles at 2am.  She eventually got the hint that it wasn't playtime!

haha! It makes me laugh too!

I really hope his babbling was a one time deal. I have to wake up at 4:30 am for work! I only got about 3 hours of sleep last night.
