I didn't feel that way till after we brought the boys home.  For the first week or so, it was just insane.

During the 3am feeding I remember my husband and I looking at each other, exhausted and miserable. I said, "What the hell did we do?"  He said he had no idea, our life was perfect before.  I felt like I screwed everything up.  Those feelings passed quickly and I can tell you now, it does change everything, it makes it all better!

  • Sometimes I need to be talked down off the ledge, kwim? I know it's going to be crazy, don't know *how* crazy, I just know it's going to be crazy! But I also know we've gotta stop and enjoy the babies and what we're trying to accomplish as well. DH and I have good support from friends and family and I've seen MoMs out and about so I know it's going to be survivable - haha. I've just got a major case of the jitters recently b/c they'll be here within the week and I no longer have 9 months to "get used to the idea". Thanks for the mini pep talk!
