Effing idiot.  Just last Wednesday I stopped by this salon in a strip mall to get my mom a gift certificate for a mani and I notice that the car next to me is running but no one in it.  As I'm getting my DS out I notice a baby in the backseat!! She was crying and screaming her head off.

I asked a nearby lawn guy if he saw the person and he said no, but that they probably went into the Subway.  I paused for a second, not sure if I should call the cops or not and then went into the salon.  I chatted for a minute, it took some time to write out the cert and swipe my card, etc.

I go back out and the baby is STILL alone.  So then I got pissed and went for my phone.  Some chick comes out of the Subway and very sarcastically I said, "Your daughter has been screaming for quite some time."  Her response?  "Babies do that."  Along with the smart a** smirk on her face.

It took everything I had not to run around that car and punch her stupid Gucci sunglasses right off her face.  So instead I said, "You ignorant bi***. (Not proud of myself for swearing, but oh well).  You're lucky I didn't call the cops and you're even luckier nothing happened to your kid." 

I will NEVER understand what possesses people.  I could kick myself for not calling the cops ASAP.

Those comments are idiotic.  Most of the stories you hear of people forgetting their kids in the car are white and middle class. 

And the chick I saw doing it was whiter than white and driving a Cadillac. 

Bad parents come in every color and economic status.
