If you potty trained your LO young

DD asks to poop and pee on the potty (and does) and is just obsessed with the potty in general, so I've decided to give it a shot. 

 One of the problems I'm having is at night.  She's still in her crib.  Should I just train her during the day?  Or transition her to a toddler bed?

Any other tips are appreciated.
