4 weeks preg.

I am 4 weeks today....I've had some cramping going on.  Enough that I  called the doctor the other day.  The 1st girl I talked to said that I should get a blood test....So I did .  It was positive(which I figured after 5 pos hpt) and she said my hcg level was 315.  AND after scaring me to death the other nurse says that the cramping is normal.

So my period was supposed to start today and I had to have another blood test this morning to see if my hcg level went up.  I am scared now.  The blood tech said 315 is low....but I haven't even technically missed a period yet!  I won't know the results for another couple hours and I can't tell you how much is going through my mind.  This will be my 3rd child and we are so exctied!   Why does the doctors office scare the absolute crap out of you!!!

5 is low.  315 is not low.

My first hCG draw was 107 (it's in my siggy) and that was about 10dpo, on 12dpo I was at 320. Your hCG is fine, the only thing that matters is whether it doubles in about 2 days. Individual numbers are meaningless and vary widely from pregnancy to pregnancy.

Thanks Ladies!!! I will know the results of the second blood test within the hour!!  I have my fingers crossed!!!

Congrats!  I'm pregnant with my third as well!  Hope everything goes well for you. :-)

Congrats! This is my 2nd and I'm having some cramping. I had cramping for a few weeks with my 1st. I attribute it to my uterus stretching. Not sure why I'm cramping this time. I would think my ute is not all the way back to pre baby size.. Good luck with those #'s. I get my blood test tomorrow.

I took 5 hpt the wknd of the 19th and they were all pos. Last Fri I started bleeding dark blood and cramping. I see the dr 10/1 and I'm scared because I had a miscarriage this time last yr. I'm 37, and this will be my 3rd child. The cramping has stopped but I'm still bleeding brown blood, theres not much there but its enough to scare me. And every now then it will turn red and then back to brown. Does anyone know if this normal?
