Did you save it? How? (i.e. did you just throw it in a plastic baggy or do something with it?)
DH keeps telling me that E needs a haircut. (He is starting to look a little scruffy.) I just don't want him to look even more grown-up! Plus, I want to save a lock of his hair, but it doesn't seem quite long enough for that yet. . .
Re: When did you cut LOs hair?
Monkey was 13 months old. She was born with a headful of hair that never fell out.
We brought her to a salon, where she got bangs. Since then she has had a full hair cut every 2 months (to keep the bangs cute)
Jack was around 10 months I think. I forgot to bring a ziploc baggy and the hair wasn't really long enough to pick up and keep so I don't have his "first haircut" hair. Mommy fail.
Like some of the prior posters, DS was called a girl at least 4 times in one week so I decided it was time to chop the mullet he'd grown. It was cut it for the first time on the 18th (he was 13 and 1/2 mo. old). It was so sad to watch-he cried the whole time and his face turned almost purple at one point. never imagined it would be so traumatic for him! We did save his hair in an envelope but will probably put into a baggie at some point. He also got a certificate for "graduating from babyhood". I can't believe how much old he looks now.
