overnight diapers - suggestions please!

We've been putting DS (who is 14 months) in Pampers BabyDry diapers at night, but he's still been leaking through them just about every night.  We bought size 4, which is his usual size.  I've heard some people say to get the next size up, but I'm afraid they will be too loose around the legs even if I fold the top.  (Note:  We give DS about 6 oz. of warm milk before bed, so I'm sure that contributes to the problem, but I have to think there is a diaper out there that can absorb that.)  Any suggestions for diapers we can try?  TIA!

  • DD drinks about 6 oz. with dinner (and goes to bed within an hour of that).  We've never had issues with the Huggies overnights.  She uses Luvs during the day, and on occasion we'll put her down in those if we're out of the Huggies.  She's fine in those as well, but they're usually about to burst in the morning.

  • I use Huggies overnites one size up for DS.  If you need more than that stick an overnight pad in it as well.

  • DS uses Huggies Little Movers size 3 during the day and Pampers Baby Dry size 4 at night.  He is so skinny too.  I would give the next size up a try!

  • DD wears size 4 pampers during the day baby dry and cruisers... but we wear huggies overnights size 4 for overnight. might have to go up to size 5 soon though in those
  • Our little guy uses pampers baby dry in the day and the pampers overnights at night. We did try going up a size but if he has had a lot of liquid prior to bedtime then it didnt matter what size he was in the diaper would bust. We have had zero problems with the overnights since we started using them about 7 months ago. He is in 5's in baby dry and overnights and they fit him great. He is 22lbs for reference. We have never tried huggies or any other brand diaper.

  • we also use Huggies overnight. DS gets a 8 oz bottle before bed and these do not leak..we have used Pampers ones and he would always be wet.
**the new version of the nest ate my pictures and I can't get them back again***
  • We had leaks with the Huggies Overnights, a friend suggested we try the Pampers Extra Protection at night, and they work wonders! Haven't had a leak since we started using them.
