I just found this website this week (I can't imagine why it took me this long - as I have become obsessed with everything TWIN!).

This is our 2nd pregnancy - my DS is 8.  We found out at 6 weeks that we are having twins.  We are very excited, but very nervous.

 Just wondering for those of you who have been there, done that, did you have a 12 week u/s even if you DID NOT do the genetic testing?  I go in for my 12 week appointment today - and I SOOOO want another u/s!!!

i didn't get offered an NT scan or any testing at 12 weeks, so no, i didn't have an u/s between 7 and 16 weeks.

My OB is obsessed w/ u/s, so during 1st and half of 2nd trimesters, he'd perform u/s in his office.  I did do the NT scan at 13 wks with perinatal, and OB still did u/s in his office.

I got a 12 week u/s because they wanted to check for heartbeat which is easier to do via u/s than using a doppler when you have twins.  But every dr. is different.

Congratulations and welcome!  I had an u/s pretty much at every OB appointment for the first 20 weeks or so...then I had growth ultrasounds at the MFM office every 4 weeks after that.
