potty help

So I've started potty training our 16, almost 17 month old DS.  He is interested in it.  9 out of 10 times when we sit him on his potty he pees or poops.  He loves my potty dance and loves putting stickers on his potty chart.  The thing I'm questioning is how do you get him to tell you when he has to go if he doesnt talk yet? Sometimes I see him crouching down so I know he's ready to poop (so I run him into the bathroom) but other times I have no idea.

Have you used sign language?  Could you teach him the sign for potty?

I haven't tried sign language.  Any idea how to sign it?
