Names the drive you crazy

Let me start of by saying this is not a post to flame people who have chosen these names. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If you love the names listed here GREAT! Use them, enjoy them. I just want to know what names you can't stand, or think are overused.

 

Names I'm tired of:

Aiden
Cayden
Jayden

and any alternative spelling of the 3. I have to admit they are nice names. But SOOOO overused. I don't my kid to be one of 30 "den's" in a class of 30 kids. Just sayin'

BelleBaby

Names that drive me crazy:

Any name ending in -aiden/ayden
Madeline/Adeline/all the other crazy spellings
Car names (Bentley and Lincoln especially)
-son names (Jackson, Carson, etc.)

That's all I can think of right now.

The Rhymes-with-Aidan trend; but more specifically, I love Aidan and absolutely hate Jayden. For some reason Jayden is the worst offender in my eyes.

One-syllable middle names (if you're only doing one middle name; more specifically, Rae. Just like Jayden, there is just something that rubs me the wrong way about Rae, more than any other.

Unisex names. There's no offender worse than any other, they're all equally horrendous.

It goes without saying that unique spellings are a pet peeve. I also dislike "modern" derivatives like Kaylin, Callabeth, etc.

Nevaeh drives me crazy, along with all the other made up names.

Cannot stand Nevaeh.  I never know how to say or spell it...I am always having to type heaven and then Nevaeh.  Horrible.

Any name that looks misspelled (or is it misspelt? pg brain is confused!).  You are not being yooneek...you look illeritate.

Names that I onced loved that are so popular I want to hurl...Isabella, Bella, Jacob, Ethan, pretty much all of the top names.  WAY over used.

Any name that is made up.

my cousin and his girlfriend named their son "Breckton". it sounds like "Lipton" iced tea and "Rectum" combined.
