cramping!!!

i am 9 weeks prego and yesterday at work i got side swiped by these horrible cramps. i'm talkin about the kind that make you want to crawl on the floor into the fetal position cramps they hurt so bad. it was scary more than anything because i didn't know what was going on. my sister who has had 3 kids said i was stretching but is it supposed to hurt that bad?

I don't think it should hurt that bad.  You may want to call your doctor.  I've had cramps, but nowhere near that much pain.

Mine are so bad they wake me up every night and have made me cry, but, so far my pregnancy is going very well. So, yes, it can be normal.

This happened to me at about 8 1/2 weeks two days of cramping. I am having some more today. I find keeping hydrated helps.

I have been cramping everyday of my pregnancy but not that bad. Definately call your dr.
