Re: another milestone ?-- sitting

  • Most babies I've seen learn to get into the sitting position usually go on their belly, get into a crawl position and then lean back

  • DS learned to sit first. He just started sitting up from laying down on his own around 9 months. He would be laying down, get on his hands and knees, and then flop his legs around so he was sitting. Now he can get into this position from a million other positions. But the pp is right, at first it was kind of falling into the sitting position from the crawling position.
