Washing cloth wipes

I bought some cloth wipes to use, but now I am hesitant.  How do you get all the poop off?  Do you clean them before putting them in the washer?  I try to get as much as I can off the diaper, and I don't think I could get the wipes as clean.

    I throw them in with my CDs, poop and all, and they come out perfectly clean. It's really no different than washing CDs or clothes that got poop on them.
