Early Pregnancy Tests

Do the "early" pregnancy tests actually work? I have the tests that say I can take them 6 days before my missed period. I'm nervous to take it that early. Are they okay to trust or should I wait until the day my period is suppose to start?

    Unless you know when you O'ed, I'd wait. No sense in wasting money on tests if you O'ed late.
