Your comment & reaction re: the sig line in someone's ticker ("Will my baby be brown or white?") is one of the first comments on the bump that I found truly offensive.

This isn't a ridiculous question at all for people who are interracial, in an interracial relationship or who have an interracial spouse. From a personal standpoint, pretty much everyone I know is wondering if my kid will take after his/her Indian, Vietnamese or Causcasian heritage.

Try to think outside your insular little bubble where races don't mix.

My husband is latino and I am caucasian.  I don't think of him as being a different race than me, (although our cultures are very different since he's from South America), but I guess we are on paper.  We are both so excited to see who the baby will look like.  We're hoping he/she has my husband's darker skin and my green eyes!  Starlily, it sounds like your baby will look very exotic....awesome combination!
