I'm have been so tired and hungry lately, that I'm worried I've gained more than the 2 pounds I'm supposed to have gained in the first 8 weeks. I still exercise, but only on a recumbent bike for 30 min/day.
Also, my skin looks crappy! What the heck? It looks like I have wrinkles under my eyes, and my skin is oily.
Sorry just had to vent! I hope this gets better soon......
Re: Vent: Feeling fat and my skin looks terrible :(
I have the same complaints OP.
But what I really came on here to tell you is that you should change your screen name to something other than your email address. Lots of weirdos on the interwebz.
I could fry an egg with the amount of oil on my face each morning when I wake up.
That, and how I'm getting zits where I never got zits before?? I have a whopper smack in the middle of my chin. It's lovely.
I tried to go to the gym the other night and couldn't even WALK for over 10 minutes. I'm at 7 weeks and have gained over 3 pounds even though I don't eat more than usual, AND I'm eating way healthier!
C'est la vie - just let nature take it's course, and carry lots of blot paper around...
Ok, I will....I usually think of that stuff. Must be pregnancy brain. Thanks!
I wish I had to motivation to get on a bike for 10 min! Kudos to you. I'm planning on working out soon once I get my energy back! As far as your skin, I'm in the same boat! I'm getting pimples on my neck! What the heck! Its horrible and I'm hoping for a "the glow" soon.
I'm 12 weeks and I've gained 7lbs already! Don't worry with it too much. I wake up in the morning and weigh 125 and by the end of the day I weigh 131, its nuts. Bloat!
I said goodbye to size 4, and attractive skin when I hit 7 or 8 weeks :-(. Hello 6/8 and Oily Hair! However I gained the initial weight from just eating normally and not restricting my diet to just salad(which I can't even stomach to look at right now) and didn't gain a lb from week 6 to week 10-12. I don't own a scale tho, so the nurse has to weigh me when I go in to visit them. So who knows what my weight fluctuation will be during this 3 week interval. ***Do NOT stress over a 2 lb weight gain, that is nothing at all. To put it in perspective: A Normal healthy exercising woman fluctuates 2-3 lbs during a week.***
I do give you kudos for exercising!! I'm so tired ALL the time and my only exercise comes from climbing 3 flights of stairs, twice a day, going into work! Then, depending on how horrid I feel when I come home, I either park it on the couch or go straight to bed. I can't wait for Pregnancy to be fun...
I'm over it too!! My forehead is so broken out! I've gained 4 lbs already, easy! Every buttery carb sounds perfect to me! Can't drink a thing until noon...and my poor hubby is pulling double time with my 2 toddler boys! I'm just doing whatever it takes to keep my food down..throwing up is the worst! My house is a mess and the list goes on and on...but 40 weeks does go by fast in the grand scheme of life! Hang in there, you are def not alone! 2nd trimester is sooo much better! BTW we must have the same dd!
